Homemade baby blanket our of 5×7 cuts and 8×10 cuts of fleece fabric.
Im not the type of person who remember to photograph the process, sorry all. But it was simple, I just sewed three peices together, added the letters, then sewed the three pieces to the following three.

Stocking Stuffers this year

Tags

, , , ,

So we have never been big on stocking stuffers, but this year I went overboard. Products that have FB offer free samples around this time and I ordered every sample I could to stuff my husbands stocking. He has like 6 coffee sample (which was one he wanted), body wash, 5 hour energy shot, cologne samples, candies. Also, whenever I saw a cute $2-4 item I just picked it up with spare ones in my wallet that I keep there for such occasions. His stocking is better than his presents I think lol. Here is a link for stocking stuffer ideas for your hubby’s:

a couple months ago I went over this list my him and wrote down all the things he said he’d want.

Hope this was helpful

Breakfast ideas to stay in shape

Energizing breakfasts to encourage a healthy lifestyle

Greek yogurt with cut up fruit and granola

Egg white and spinach omelet

Oatmeal (not instant, rather cooking oats) with banana slices or raisens and a tablespoon of brown sugar

homemade smoothie

hard boiled egg, apple slices, and half bagel with light cream cheese

whole grain waffle with peanut butter

just a few ideas..I had a hard time coming up with breakfast when I started changing my eating habits. Honestly, I would say to stay away from cereal, or really pay attention to what is in them. I have been noticing things that say all natural and are not or low in calories but are very unhealthy in other areas.

Simple Homemade Mac and Cheese

Everytime I looked up a Mac and Cheese recipe there were several ingredients I didnt have. So here is one I kind of made up:

Box of Macaroni ( I use the bigger box from Aldi)

4 cups Shredded Mild Cheddar (other cheeses work too, if I dont have 4 cups, I use 2 of the mild cheddar and 2 of the mozzarella)

2 T paprika

1 bay leaf

2 cups milk

cook macaroni in boiling water

heat milk paprika and bay leaf, then add cheese stiring constantly untill well blended

pour noodles into cassorole dish then mix in melted cheese.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes

Extras I like to add:

bread crumbs on top before baking

cheese stuffed kilbosa slices or cubed ham

Last minute Christmas guests

Last minute Christmas guests

My father in law and sister in law are coming for Christmas and did not let us know till a few days ago, luckily we were done Christmas shopping and it wasn’t a burden to buy them presents and stocking stuffers. I have not been able to find a stocking that was cheap (since it will only be used once) so I used some yarn to crochet a little baggy here and personalized it so my little sister will know I put extra love into making it.

I also included a link of a basket weave I will be making for my father in law for his “stocking stuffer” baggy. If it turns out well I will post pics 🙂

I hope this is the proper link.
This is the Myers Briggs Personality Type test. It’s a great thing to know, especially when meeting new people. You can really understand why you may or may not get along with someone. It can help you understand how your children are, and how to work with them too.

Added a pillow

It took me about 20 minutes to make a matching pillow for the doll quilt (my sisters idea) for my niece. I stuffed it and sewed in completely around. Such a cute set and only cost me about $10 to make.

I dont think I mentioned in my earlier post, I used scraps from a dress I dont wear anymore to make the back of the blanket and pillow, and the fabric came from the clearance section of Hobby Lobby
